Some parents and schools are wanting to have school uniforms. They believe that this can resolve bullying during the day. With every student wearing the same outfit you should think that there wouldn’t be a bullying problem. But it bully still occurs whether students wear uniforms or not. Also many people get excited to pick there outfits out for school. For example if they just bought a new outfit and want to wear it, they wouldn’t be able to if the school had uniforms. Another thing too is it will cost parents a lot more money. So I believe that our school shouldn’t have uniforms.

Many people wonder if the voting age should be lowered. Currently you have to be 18 in order to vote. But it has not always been the age for for voting. For example people use to have to be 21 in order to vote. But in 1971 the constitution proposed amendment 26 which would allow citizen 18 years or older to vote. But this would be very difficult to be change voting age again.

People may think that 16 year olds are not matured enough or don’t have enough knowledge to vote. But this isn’t true because many high school students need to take a civics class. If 16 year old were able to vote it will increase voter turnout too. Many students want to have a say and are able to make decision. 16 year olds should have the option to change laws or to have a vote.
